Laura Yarbrough, Board Member

Laura Yarbrough serves as the current President and a charter member of Andrew’s Angels.  As Andrew’s mother, she knows firsthand the stress of spending extended periods at the hospital.  “Having a critically ill child can be terrifying.  You end up feeling isolated and without hope. The world can be a dark place when you feel alone. Andrew’s Angels gives me a platform to show others that there are people out there who care for them and want to help.”  As a small business owner, Laura knows how economically disruptive a hospitalization can be.  “It’s very important to me that Andrew’s Angels meets physical needs as well as emotional ones.  We provide for meals and parking to allow family members to focus on helping their loved one get well.”

Nadyne Yarbrough, Board Member

Nadyne Yarbrough, also known as Nayne to her grandson, Andrew. Nadyne has been a part of Andrew's Angels from day one and she is so grateful to all the “Angels” who have made this mission a success. Jamie Chambers, Board Member

Jamie Chambers joined the Andrew’s Angels Board of Directors in 2022 but has been an “Angel” for many years prior.  She became friends with the Yarbrough family in 2016 and was inspired by Andrew and his organization’s passion for serving kids and their families in the hospital at Christmas time.  Jamie is a middle school math teacher who loves cats, reading, riding roller coasters, traveling with her husband and two children, and going on long walks.
